Here's my vote:

1) Paulie's Sketch
2) Jon's (or something like this)
3) HMS (top track)

Oh you guys and your Nitro jokes... All I need is a good set of tires, a beer dispensing hat, and wot and i'll make the triple in 15-20 feet of run up. This Picco packs one heck of a wallop. Brushless...sounds like a woman with a bad hair day in need of a hair brush. Have fun changing battery packs every 10 minutes!

OORAH! Go Nitro!

brushless--old guy with kids--

don't have any batteries that last 10 minutes...how about a fuel tank that last six and tuning for 20.... I get 20-45 minutes on a set of batteries, I get worn out before the batteries do....

I may clear the triple, but might not land it....

Josh...I think someone turned the lights out on that track (in your head). But no there would not being any lights on the proposed track complex at Courtney.

Ken and Jon...are we ready to put a fork in this one yet? I have not seen any movement on this since the "crack" meeting. Is the voting done?

I have not heard any good news about Bios yet either. The last time I checked there was not an alternative location picked out. I drove by Bios the other day and most of the lane pipes had been removed and the entire track was a lake.

See you in the Dirt! (maybe)

Hello all,

Yes, I am back on Island after a little leave (cut short) and being sequestered for about a week and a half. (no phone, no e-mail)

I have had some contact with Camp Services and I do have a meeting with the Asst Camp Commander on Monday.

The latest from Camp Sevices= The work orders have been submitted to have the brush cleared and to have the utilities survey done (to find out if there are any burried power/water lines)

They are checking on the status (how much longer) and will have an answer for me on Monday.

I will also be following up with the SeaBee's on Monday to make sure they can still support (the last contact I had with them (two weeks ago) they were still willing and able.

I appologize if my absence has caused any anxiety or frustration, as you know, my schedule gets a little crazy from time to time...

Please feel free to contact me if you have nay questions.

Guys,

I may have landed a Connex for us...

I was at DRMO on Camp Kinser getting items for an office move, and by chance asked if they had any Connex's for re-issue.

They were like, "Yeah, out back. We have a bunch. 20 footer, 40 footer, etc."

The process to get one is easy as pie, provided you are on their letter and have a DODAAC account number.

My primary contact at Kadena is authorized, and is the reason I was able to get the items I need for my office move. I'm going to see about having him allow me to get the connex, since it's absolutely no cost to us, and then transfer it to an account that can be managed buy someone a little closer to the item (on Camp Courtney). Maybe we can still do it if a transfer doesn't happen, I dunno. I'm sure they (Kadena) will not want it on their books, but I'll see what I can do.

The only hiccup is that we'd need to have it transported for us, and I'm not able to do that from my end.

If we could get it to Courtney, and my leadership will go for it, I think it would be fairly easy to get.

I'd want the area cleared thoughbefore we actually got it in our hands, so once we are able to get it picked up and delivered, it only moves one time.

Paulie,

That is awesome,

I think we could have it added to the Camp Services acct.

This would allow for ownership at Courtney as well as provide them with a storage area for track related items.

i will mention this on Monday.
