Dirt / Off Road Track - East Columbia - South Carolina
A dirt offroad outdoor track is being built in the East of Coumbia - SC.
For up to date information go to http://columbiarcoffroadclub.blogspot.com/
It is located at "Coumbia BMX" between exit 80 and 82 on I-20.
Simply take Interstate I-20 (east) to exit 80 (Clemson Rd Exit).
Turn right off the exit ramp and go to the stop sign.
At the stop sign, turn left. Travel one mile and you will find
the park located on the left hand side, just next to the Clothing World.
If you are traveling on I-20 West, off the exit ramp, turn left and
follow the same instructions.
Feel free to contact Jay Shimbursky - 803 479 1379 (who intiated the idea and is working every day at the track) to propose your assistance / material...
We need tubing for delimiting the track, clay / top soil, decking wood, wires / light / posts....
Will post more pics, as building progress....
First race was organized last Friday evening.
Weather permitting, races will be scheduled every Friday night (potential practice during the week).

You should also post this on Trinity Tech Talk and Carolinas R/C forums to let more carolina racers know about the new track. Its a perfect location Columbia needs a track in the middle of the state.
