After having separate classes last year at LCRC, we can say the lap times are almost the same between nitro and electric. So, it's not really an advantage and your 3 pit stops in a nitro buggy is going to be the same amount of time it takes the e-scale guys for one stop to change a battery. In addition, it's off-road, slower is actually faster and they can't be doing 90mph while in the in air and entering corners.

Hi Rob, how it's going? Do you mean April 10th? Confirm please. Henry Green and I are planning on making the trip that day. .

Did you get a chance to talk to the owners about when the track is open for practice? Are there only certain days the track can be used or is it open for practice anytime the shop is open? I really hope its the later. Also is there a yearly fee that can be payed instead of each use, last year it was $75.
