Sonoma County dosen't have a track, but I'll find a dirt track in Lake County called Lakeport Hobbies, and a road course in Marin County called Marin RC Hobbies. The biggest one I know of is called Norcal Hobbies, in Union City
However you'll find that Sonoma County dose have three Hobby shops in the area. Jake's Performance Hobby in Rohnert Park, Hobbytown USA in Petaluma and one in Healdsburg. I don't know the name, but they deal mostly with RC plains.
Hobbytown USA runs a track setup two times a month, starting in april or june. They run Monster truck, 1/8 (which I'll be running this session), Stadium truck (another one I'll be entering), Slash, Novice road, sportsmen Road, Mod Road and 1/18. We run it in the parking lot, so if you'er going to run your stuff get em' ready for asphalt.
There is also a RC racing club called the Groundpounders. It's all 1/10 and 1/12 on road, so no trucks or buggies. With the exception of Slash.
Good luck, and I hope to see you at the track.

If you're running nitro offroad, forget about the Lakeport Hobbies indoor track. They're all electric.

Check this thread for picture link.
Track is about 1 1/4hr from Santa Rosa. Friendly and not too technical. It's not going to get any closer to S.R. than this. So suck it up and show up.
