Default New Track near Sherman TX coming Soon!

Remote Control Car track open to the public coming soon at Grayson County Speedway. We are located about an hour north of Dallas and 40 minutes north of McKinney/Frisco. Looking for first races in less than a month.

This will be a Family Oriented Environment and all are welcome from first time racers to seasoned veterans. Classes will be made available for any car that shows up. This will be for fun. If your not coming for a good time, we ask you not to come.

If you are new don't be intimidated. We will help you learn the racing process. Everyone was a beginner once and we will cater to the beginner.

We will start with a dirt oval and add an offroad track very soon. For those of you that have never raced dirt oval, don't be afraid. Any car will work and its actually easy to learn.

Nitro and Electric Cars, Trucks, and Truggies will be allowed. 1/18,1/10,and 1/8 are OK.

Electronic scoring will be used. No transponders for now, but perhaps in the future.

When Big car racing returns in March, you will recieve a general addmision pass to the 1/4mile track with your entry. A $12 value. RC race all afternoon, watch the big cars all night for one fee!

Motor Grader and John Deere were busy today and roughed in the oval and offroad track.

Tomorrow will be retaining walls, pipe for offroad and ??????

Its actually looking like a race track and this is only day 1.

Heavy equipment rules!!!!
