Oval Racing @ Hobby Stop West Raceway – Toledo, Ohio
2008 Winter Points Series
Well we’re off to a terrific start to the season for Oval Racing in Toledo!
There were 10 entries of the Losi Mini Slider in the stock class. Two Losi Late Models also showed up and we ran them all together with the Sliders. I hope we get a few more out for the next race in the late model class. And 4 brave soul’s came out for 12th Scale Oval. Points are below:

1/10 & 1/12 Scale Series started on 11-9-2008
Our Winter Series has started. Points will be posted soon for our 10th and 12th Scale classes! 
You've got to come and check out the racing here in Toledo! Beautiful track with new ozite carpet (80x36) hobby shop on site, restrooms on site, truing room, pit space for 44+ with chairs provided, snacks & pop @ great prices, AMB and I-lap scoring systems.
Friday nights = 1/18th Scale On-road & Off-road racing. Track opens 4pm Racing starts at 7pm and goes till around midnight or later.
Saturdays are either Open Practice from 9am to 9pm or Oval racing for 1/18, 1/12, 1/10 Track opens for Ovals @ 9am and racing starts between noon and 1pm. 3 heats and a main. 3 makes a class
Sundays are 1/12 & 1/10 Roadcourse. Track opens @ 9am racing starts at noon. 3 heats and a main. 3 makes a class

The World GT class is growing!!! If you got a world GT car and wanna race come on out on sundays. I had a blast last weekend!

Had a great time yesturday running Losi late models on the oval!! Great track and people! Thanks to everyone for showing patience when Kody and Constance were on the track... They had a great time! We will be back soon! Thanks again, Steve Culbert

Friday night racing!
Hi guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we will still be racing 1/18 tonight.
We will always race unless they declare a level 3 emergency for winter weather.

I like the track, I stopped in on 1/4 to check out the action. I think I'll bring my stuff next time and cut up some rug with you guys.
What rubber TC classes are you guys running? Is it 13.5 or 17.5? I may be bringing a few guys up from Dayton to run also so should we bring some tables and chairs with us?

We've got pit space for 44 with chairs. Most of the guys are table hogs so we can make room. Glad you liked the track, and we'd love to have you come and race with us.
