great day of racing sunday. big turn out...29 people. 2 large heats of corr truck...5 4wd buggies...3 2wd buggies....4 stadium trucks...and more on the way..next week should be six 4wd buggies and 4 2wd buggies.. the track recovered very well from saturday nights monsoon. i know there was nothing we could have done yesterday about the start time as we were waiting for the track to tighten up....but we do need to get started earlier. rich said he wants to try to start the racing at 10:30 in the future.
Jon 's Academy 4wd buggy was hooked up for the main...Alan worked all day to get his Kyosho RB5 together and made it for the main...car looked really easy to drive...and my Academy GV2 T was hooked up all day.
Met a new racer driving a SBV first generation 4WD...he had a few problems but I think we hooked him up with a few spares and some info to get it more reliable for next week...says he'll be back next week.
Rampage Racing is back in full swing

Thatís great news! The track is getting better and better. Eric and Rich are really doing a great job with the changes and upgrades to the track.

News of the endurance race is was great to hear also. I am totally down for endurance racing.

When I raced on Friday the track was great also! Actually, my eye is still swollen from the mosquito that tried to drain fluid from it during the main!

The stadium truck class has peeked my interest again. My have to find a rent-a-ride. Although my SC10 is getting around the track well, it is still a big handful. See you there this weekend!

hey marvet...the 4wd buggy class is open as far as motor goes...but the size of the track really calls for a 10.5 brushless...anything more is a real handful. stadium truck seems to be 13.5 brushless is just right(or 19 turn brushed)...and i would think 2wd buggy would be best with a 17.5...but the 13.5 might work out also.

Well, the weather report for tomorrow is fantastic, just hope the track is in some kind of shape after the monsoons we had the last few days.

Cool

"I AM THE BOMB" What a day for racing on sunday, I think it was around 102 degrees and humid. That is almost as hot as the racing. My sc10 was on rails after a couple of changes. I need to finish building my b44, those guys were having some fun on the track. I would like to say thanks to Eric for all the work he put into the track. The new web site is great, keep up the good work guys. See you soon!
