Chris, sorry to hear your still having trouble. Those belts can be a little tricky to get right at first. Lmk if you need a hand, I'll come help help ya out. I can put those damn things together with my eyes closed, I've done so many of them. LoL!

Seriously though it wouldn't be a problem if you need a hand. My mom lives out that way and I could go visit her when we're done. Just let me know.

I think I have it lined up, but cant hurt to have another set of eyes on it. When your out this way, drop on by.

Race day was awesome. Beat my fastest lap by 3 seconds, made several passes in the race, but the rain came and got caught with the wrong tires. So i kept it untwisted and safe.

had a fun day of racing inside on the carpet father's day. the chilli was awesome and the racing challenging as the traction was changing all day. it may be time to go back to the stock tires now that the weather is consistently warm. the 3 racing tires are making way too much traction even with no compound on them still rolling. hopefully the weather will give us a break and dry out the dirt track so we can run some dirt races.

Not sure about progress made today and couldn't make it down to race last night but when I spoke to Rich yesterday he said the track was like 2/3 done. So it looks promising for sunday. Might be best to give Rich a shout about tomorrow night though

Like I said, I don't know how much progress they made yesterday and today but I know they've been bustin a$$ to get it ready so its possible that it'll be done for tomorrow nite. I'd call in the AM just to be sure. (845)229-1379

There's a wicked t-storm going on here where I am at the moment. Its raining like a mother. I just hope it missed the track! I really, really, REALLY wanna play in the dirt. I'm gonna be pissed if we get rained out AGAIN!!

Awesome day!!! All the work on the track is paying off. I cant believe how dry it was considering all the rain. The new drainage looks great!

My truck is getting better. Still a handful to drive. See you Friday!

Despite the downpour, and after a couple hours of pushing water around on Friday I was able to get the SC10 out on the track. I made some changes including correcting the ripping zipper out of the corners. I think, even in the sloppy mud, the truck picked up some more rear traction, maybe even too much. Hoping to get there next weekend to know for sure.

even more work is scheduled to be done on the track.....4" drain pipe going in on saturday....possibly more fresh dirt next week..Eric is doing an incredible job improving and maintaining the track this season...it's never been better. weather permitting this weekend we'll have a full schedule this sunday so get there early. expecting 2 heats of corr trucks, 1 heat of 2wd buggy, 1heat of 2wd stadium truck, and 1 heat of 4wd buggy ( this class is growing...2 more were purchased this week and should be ready for next sunday....2wd buggy should be a 3 car heat this week also)
can't wait for the weekend...gonna make a human sacrifice to the weather gods

Thumbs up

I was up at the track yesterday helping Rich dial in his gearing.
When I got there the track was soggy from the rain earlier this week, but after about four runs of his slash and a few runs from his sons new 4wd buggy the track was MINT! Should be real good conditions for tonight and so long as weather stays nice like it is, it'll be great on sunday as well!

Hope to see everyone out at the track! Should be some great racing. Oh and Eric, you'd better watch out bro, there's TWO more Academy cars, For a total of FOUR now, gonna be gunnin for that one lonely old losi in 4wheel buggy class.

Congrats Brian and JR and good luck! Should be a blast, I'm lookin forward to it. We'll have us some REAL RACING!:

Sorry Ricky, had to do it! Couldn't help myself!
