yeah i know you cant find yok or schumacher around here at all. i want to get or try the new yok offroad but the price is a little high and as you said no parts. i noticed for onroad there are so many cars that are good that you also cant get here. i see diva sells some really cool cars that are only in japan that would probably kick ass here. it kind of sucks that we are limited to certain cars. as i said if you and neil, and chris, go to willis let me know i will go and try it out i will just need a lot of help setting it up.

Willis opens on October 19 and I think they open the Saturday before that. You can check on their website at www.willishobbies.com or just call them. ButI know they open on October 19. I don't think I could make it the first day but I will definetly try to go the week after that. I have a TC3 and I love it. Not much people at Willis has a Pro 2 or Pro 3, mostly TC3. If you had a TC3 I can try to help you wit it because I don't know anything about set-ups of the Pro3 or Pro2.

Willis runs all sorts of types : stock mod, sedans, 1.12th and micros.

The track is in the basement, the hoppy store is on the two floors above. Great place, great drivers, fun atmosphere.

The first couple of weeks at the track would most likely be busy. But then after that, less and less people come to the track. On the way to the track, we have to pass through 2 RR tracks but I do not know where it stops. Most people at the track have TC3's and like a few other have like a schumacher, Pro 3 or Yok or some other type or touring cars.

I know they sell a lot of Team Associated parts bacause every time I need a part on my TC3, they always seem to have it...even the parts you think they won't have. They also have a lot of HPI parts...other than that I am not sure wut other company's or call parts they sell. But I am sure they will have the parts you need...most likely!!!

Only Willishobbies has the nearest track from my area. Are they still racing nitro? If so what car are they usually running? If not, besides tc3, are there people running hpi's 1/10 or 1/12 EP?

I am pretty sure Willis still races nitro on road and electric outdoors at Nassau Community College Parking lot. But you will need a generator or a soure of power, table and chairs. They only open their outdoor track in summer when the indoor track is closed. In the indoor track...I've only seen bout 3 people run HPI's. You can check them out on their web www.willishobbies.com...

Willis won't be running outdoor nitro anymore, they gave all their stuff to Farmingdale raceway... Supposedly Farmingdale is going to redo their outdoor on road track for the summer, we'll wait and see... I'm tyrying to work out my work schedule to be able to race sundays at willis... I've been tinkering with my Yok most of the night tonight... I have a slight tweak which I can't get rid of without severely screwing up the ride height... Go figure... I need to get it on the track and get the bugs worked out already... I've finally gotten a set of tires trued down and balanced... Have to get the rest done soon...

Cool

We're starting up the indoor season at Dirt Runners next Saturday (November 1). The track is an indoor oval/roadcourse located in Oakridge, NJ (near Vernon). We run all kinds of classes:

Novice, 12th scale pan (stock & 19t spec), 10th scale pan (4 cell mod), Touring Car (6 cell mod), Legends, Street Spec, Truck Stock, Nastock

The first date will be a dedicated practice session starting at 5:30 PM.

If you'd like more info including directions, check out the website at www.dirtrunners.com
