Yes we will be running nitro. We have a few guys that come out that run elec. Most of the electric is 2wd buggy and truck we normally group them in with the gas truck guys or if we have enough we make a class.

As for nitro to elec. conversions you can run run with the nitro guys thats not a problem.

We are hoping we get everything ready for the weekend after mothers day.
There are still tons of work to do. So I will post up an exact opening day.

We will be setting a schedule in the next week or so.

We were hoping to run the weekend after mother's Day (May 18th)
But with the limited help that have been showing up. It might be another week or so.

We charge for racing. Thats how we get the money to support the track.
All the work that has been done to the track is not free.
There is a lot of hard work and determination by a small group of members that volunteer to work on the track. These people accomplish all the things that need done to have a successful track.

$15 for the first class and $10 for each additional class.
However if you are a Rev Member you get a $5 discount per class.
But with the membership you are required track maintenance days.
Membership it $30 per year

we are planning on getting a tractor in their on Saturday to get the water spot fixed there is still a bunch of work to get ready for racing. If you have any free time stop on out and lend a hand. The work you do will not go unnoticed. Plus you could get a Free race day out of it we have the track work = free race day insentive we are trying out. Just ask Jacki, Scott or I and we can hook you up if you come out and give a good days work of work to the club.

there needs to be alot of hand grooming to the track still. flat shovels and hand tampers is what we need scott and I did a few of the jumps. the rest needs to be gone over. and the face of the triple needs a good amount of work also.

Here is the list of things that need done.
finish the pit lane
redo with loader the south east corner of track for flood control.
level out bump in back straight
scrape dirt from un-used track areas and add to low spots
bury tile between the triple jumps from one side to the other
bury tile from low spot next to triple to over by pit lane.
bury tile from pit lane to the South/East corner of track
spray grass killer on grass in track and freshly spread screenings

Bring a friend, the more work we get done the sooner we can race. This has been a huge project rearanging the whole track, drivers stand and pit lane. but it will be well worth it when everyone sees how nice the track will be.
