We were going to tile the whole area.
But the water always lays in the same spot.
So we are just going to make all the water flow to that location and make it a small retension pond

Here is a pic of the plan

The track is at a public park so it is tectonically open to the public during the daylight hours. It is fenced in with gates. The gates will be closed and locked when their is rain in the forecast or major track maintenance going on. We keep it locked on rain days because the little kids always are attracted to mud for some reason, and that just ruins the track.

However I have herd that a few guys would be their Sunday and Monday off and on just playing on the new layout. We just finished all the track work that needs to be done.

So we may be racing next weekend.

PS i have updated pics of the track. Look back at the top of the thread^^^^^

Put the word out guys. the more racers we have attending the more money that comes into the club and in turn the more money that goes into the track.

Not 100% yet on this but our first race should be this coming Sunday.

I hope you had fun with the track we are hoping to get the money to rent a vibrating compactor and make it 1/10 smooth!!

The track is tight that was our intension.
Good, tight, choose the best line to pass style of winning.
We did not want it to be the one with the biggest motor wins kind of track.

I hope your 1/10 was doing the double and not the triple!!!! the triple is huge for a 1/10.
