Great idea Carson! I know where we could make the cut at. We should eliminate the triple because that's a pretty big jump for those trucks. We can check it out this Saturday and see what would be best for them. Did you get my text message?

Weekend after Vegas might be good for us Lektric guys. Unless were worn out.

Been looking forward to running the SC8's again, and this new track layout is quite a challenge for them.

hey guys,

My name is Shank, I used to go race (or try anyway) at ARC way back
last October. I've been overseas a while and just got back and was wondering
whats going on at ARC Raceway lately. I remember a few of you from when
i used to go there, that still post here.

I have a Kyosho strr and a losi 8 buggy. the last time I was there i suffered
a huge head on collision which is the thing im fixin right now on the losi8.

my kyosho on the other hand is all the way down to the chasis. i have
all the parts and a new engine (sirio cl7b sti still in the box) for it to get it back together in top form.

I feel like just running the buggy soon as its an easy fix but was thinking
of selling all my stuff so im not too keen on putting the truggy back together.
it has a nice custom painted lid (army camoflauge, pretty new). a few sets
of new lprs too (bowties or crimefighters). I have a lot of spare parts for
the kyosho and the losi8b has raced less than 5 times and has all race upgrades and pretty much no stock parts.

anyway, just checking back in since I've been away a while and if anyone
is interested in buying some stuff, let me know. I hear maybe you guys will
be racing NEXT weekend not this weekend?

That may give me more time to work on the truggy then.

hit me back on the racing info and anything else.
Later, Shankdog

shankdog i believe they are still racing this weekend. but allot of people are going to the silverstate race, this is why they are not racing the sc8 class. keep your stuff and come race, the layout is very nice and new so whit a little practice you could get your skill back and be competitive.

Very good to know, thank you.
So next weekend will be a better day to come back out then ?
Is everything still the same there. Practice until like 2pm and race around
4pm?

Wow, since i posted that I got out all the stuff. I didnt realize how much
stuff I had bought before I left lol. I'll have the buggy done by tomorrow
but the truggy will be a few days. For a sportsman driver and fairly new
to driving (4 months) I always had good stuff just tried to drive to fast.
hahaha.

I'm know there at ARC by a lot of guys as the "Runaway Kid" for having
my Truggy get away from me down the long dirt road next to the track.
Funny thing was it went about a 1/4 mile straight down the road and jumped
into a tree where it RPM'ed (but never blew up) and ran out of gas!

Fellow kyosho guy Chris V. told me to unshim the head and I actually
finished the main with the same engine. I did just find the new one in the
box though...man it looks sweet ! I may stick the old engine back in it though
im not sure if I want spend the time to break it in when I get back.
Those sirio engine are pinch monsteers at first.

thanks again for the info !

Oh yeah btw, I left my Dynamite QuickFire starter box there the last time...
BUMMER. I hope whoever found it was able to use it..its all good !

WOW SHANKDOG!!!! I was wondering what happened to you! Hey man, we are racing this weekend as well as every weekend. We have a new class that races once a month. This class is called short course. They resemble full size CORR trucks and they are an awesome class to watch on the track! We are planning a race for them on the 11th. Good to see that you are gonna come out and have some fun! see ya there!
