Default Charger and battery

Cosmo,

So you would recommend a peak detection charger and at least a NIMH 3000 mah battery? How long would that last before re-charging and how long would it take to recharge?

That also brings me to another question, what would I need to race up at ARC in terms of recommendations for batteries (quantity and power)?

Also, what is the best way to clean these trucks? My buddy and I were thinking we would get the pressurized air canisters unless you know a better method.

Thanks!

The track's strait-a-way got groomed tonight thanks to Russ (Carson's Dad).
They brought out a small tractor with a gannon on it.
It worked well to level out some of the major holes at end of strait.
Hope it holds up well.
I'll be racing my buggy and truggy on Saturday.
See you all out there.

cleaning.... WD40 and a really good air pressure. works like a charm for me. u may think the WD40 will attract more dirt... NOPE, not if u wait a day or so after cleaning...

Default Getting together in North County

What's up guys.

Is there anyone interested in getting together in North County SD to whip their cars around for a while, or have any good spots that would be a good alternative to getting up to the track? My buddy and I recently purchased Slashes and are interested in getting together with some people to get some tips and practice with before heading up to the track.

I can give you my email address if you are interested.

Thanks!

Thanks Anthony. That was one of the cleanest races I have been a part of. I believe I was battling with Dynomite the later half of the race and it was awesome. Don definitely had me covered though, but had pit trouble (to the tune of atleast 10 seconds). Anyways it was fun out there and the turnout seems to be getting better and better. Hopefully I can make it out next Saturday as well.

Yea, Jacque had it in the first part, we battle really clean and tight for 4-5 laps, then I made a mistake. He had a pretty good lead from there. Then he had radio problems and dropped out. I came into the pits with a 5-8 second lead. My pit guy was pitting the wrong car when I came in. My car just sat there for what seemed like and eternity. Then Dyno and Brandon were battling back and forth. I caught up to them several times, but the bumps on the back wall section kept on getting me in trouble. Very clean and tight racing. We all had fun for the most part. Good job Brandon.

Yaa it was nice to see Brandon battle his way to the top. I marshaled that race and it was a good one.

Anyone thinking about going out for practice tomorrow?

Us Tekno guys will be there and it would be nice to see others there too.

We should be out there between 2-3. We usually leave when it gets cold (around 6-7).
