You were not kidding about taking your time and doing it right! Really nice!

The drivers stand has to be one of the best. I like the low tables. Junction boxes are WAY more than I could have wished for. This is not just a track to run but a racing facility!

I'll try to take weekly progress pictures since I only live 6 miles from the track. If I see Dan there I'll get some info from him and see if he needs help someday. Maybe get a work party on some weekend and we can all donate some of our time.

I live in Murrieta and I am willing to help out. I am just starting to get into racing and a track close to home would be great. PM me with directions and the time and date of when to be there.

A few changes since the 8th. Some of the table were wired up with outlets under the tables. The track has been graded and the weeds are gone. There’s also mounds of fill dirt that showed up on the track. Nobody was there again but I'll keep on the look out for him to get some info and if he needs help with anything.

For those that don't know how to get there.....it's tucked in between some hills and kind of hard to find at the resort. Directions below should help tied along with some landmark pics below to help you.

Exit highway 79 South (Now called Temecula Parkway) from the I-15 and go East 8.6 miles. When you get to the light at Butterfield Stage road, there’ll be a CVS Pharmacy and Mobil Station on the corner along with a Big Horse Feed across the street. That’s the 3.7 mile mark. Proceed another 4.9 miles towards the hills and you'll come up to the Vail Resort wall (see pic below) and make a left. From there it's about a mile to the track. When you pass the gate, proceed into the resort on the main road you’re on to the stop sign (see pic below) and follow directions to the waterslide to the left. Pass the waterslide up on the hill to your left. You’ll go up a little hill where you’ll get to a point where there’s a tree right smack dab in the middle of the road with a little red reflector on it (see pic below). Go past the tree and the road will veer to the right. Right as you veer to the right you’ll see a dirt road and make an immediate left on it. You should be able to see the driver stand from there (see pic below).

Hey Tech5......

If you talk to Dan, let him know I can supply metal cable enclosures, grade level boxes, and above gorund pedestals that you see around town next to sidewalks. I work at Channell Commercial Corp. in Temecula that manufactures those. Being in middle management I can dig through some obsolete stuff for free. You can give him this link for ideas he may be interested in. www.channellcomm.com

Great update RCOldSkool. From what you can see how does the track area compare in SIZE to others you have seen? Bigger, smaller, average?

We've raced at Revelation Raceway and Hemet Racepark formerly "The Dirt" and I can tell you it's definately at least 1/3 bigger or maybe more in size.

I'm a little worried because it seems like it's out in the Boonies and may not get a lot of traffic. It'll definately be my hometrack and will support it as much as I can. I think with enough exposure through advertising and having big race events from time to time will help attract more people. Revelation raceway on regular club races can attract anywhere from 50 to 100 drivers sometimes. They're pretty well situated geographically. At $20 an entry and say 100 entries, that's $2k on one day plus $5 practice fees throughout the week, RevRace can generate about $2.5k a week or $10k/mo. I may be exxagerating the numbers but it does seem like that everytime we go. I've calc'd it out when they post up the heats in between races. That would be awesome for ARC if thery can get to that level. Even though it isn't done yet, It's the nicest track I have seen yet in SoCal. Didn't mean to get off topic. I tend to do that LOL!!!
