Some people think it is a big problem, some don't. I am sure that everyone can agree that a smoother track is better though. The bottom line is that many people don't want to race there because of the surface of the track. Dan wants to make ARC the best track around so changes will be made. Like I said, the problem will be handled next week or the week after at the latest.

what Revrace said!!

Arc will be bringing in lots of clay to improve the surface and help hold the track together. It should improve in all areas. This sat will still be racing on the old layout be this will be the last weekend on it. And nextweekend will have fresh clay and new layout

Allright guys and gals (if any), here is the latest and greatest for this weekend. Dan will be getting a tiller and vibrating-plate-thingy to do the repairs in the rutted up areas tomorrow. I will be helping with the repairs and anyone who has the time is more than welcome to come out and lend a hand. DAN HAS AGREED, THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES TO THE TRACK, MAINLY SOME LANE CHANGES AND POSSIBLY SOME MOGULS OR MINOR JUMPS HERE-AND-THERE (IF MY BACK FEELS UP TO IT). Last time we moved some lanes around everyone seemed to be happy with it. We appreciate that people understand that it takes a lot of time, money, and effort to do a complete track change. If the changes work out the way i think they will, the minor changes that we do make will be a big difference!

As far as the addition of clay goes...it is definately in the works. Dan had a sample of the clay he may be getting and it is pretty nice stuff. The goal is to have it sometime next week and ready for the next weekend along with a completely different layout. This is one of the reasons the track has not been change, no sense if we will change a week or two later due to the addition of the clay. Don't want to make any promises but hopefully it will happen soon.

Hope to see all of the locals and out-of-towners out for some fun!

Allright everyone, the track is ready for tomorrow!!! The layout change (partial) is awesome!!! I ran a tank or two to make sure everything was good and it reall y feels like a different track in most places. It is amazing what moving around some pipes can do (obviousely we did a lot more than that). all the rutted areas have been tilled and smoothed out. The track is really fun to drive, hope to see you all out tomorrow.

ARC will be ready for raceday thanks to the guys who come out on Friday nights with no complaints. Some of us are just happy to be able to have some place to go that's fun to be. See you out there.

we worked on the track all day.
moving just a few pipes made a pretty good change in the layout.
dan tilled the whole track and we followed with the rakes and packed everything down after that...99% of all the ruts are gone!!! with a few new smll jumps, should hold up pretty well.

see you all tomorrow!

I went out there after work yesterday to help out where i could. They guys were already hard at work when i got there at 230. By 630 when i left, the track had a new look to it, with the lane changes made, and the corners were smoothed out. It's alot of hard work, and I think we all did a pretty good job getting in race shape for today.

Even though the main parts are still in place, the track has a new feel to it. It's all good!

Well it was a long day yesterday, between work and then the track, but Off to work I go again!! See ya all at the track this afternoon!!

Great job Dan, Pres, KC, and Doc!! I think I seen Nick coming in while I was driving out!

Hey Donny, no problem, we understand people have lives outside of RC. We do as well, but some of us work odd schedules or have our own schedules that allow us to help out at the track when we can. I am sure i can speak for Dan as well on this one, we appreciate you coming out to the track regularly as well as all the other "travelers". Its always fun watching the fast guys put my lap times to shame (not really)

Had a great time last night. The track changes made it a completely different layout....great job to all of those who made it happen. It was nice to see so many more people come out to race....hopefully a sign of things to come.

Yup. Had a great time too. The layout turned out to be pretty cool. At least it was a change until the new complete layout comes.

It was kinda wierd to have more Pros than Expert this week. Normally it is the other way around. It would have been cool to have a bigger class since this was my first week in the Expert class. Oh well, it was cool anyways. Wouldnt have made much of a difference since I broke 9 laps into the main. ugh! Next week!

Oh yeah! And GREAT job going out to Dan for getting the results posted so QUICKLY!! Heck that is Rev's quick!!

I can see that I need to drop a second, and a little more consistancy to hang in the new class. That will be my goal in the next couple weeks!!
