Chris, racing was fun.

I did manage to cause a flood on the track.

Also, my throttle servo went crazy and had a runaway. If it was not for the fence, my car would still be on its way to Hemet.

I will be there again this saturday.

Results online are very cool. Good job to Dan and crew!

If that is a truggy then I think you could race it.

If it was me, I would look for a deal on a new/used Jammin X2 or the Associated RC8T.

Once the ST-RR catches up to the MP9, I will more than likely pick one up.

OK all ARC racers lets bring out all the hotrods to ARC this Saturday for another fantastic night of "NITRO MAYHEM"! electric guys are also invited to come out for some "ELETRIC EXCITEMENT"! Hope to see all of you there! Maybe we can get Dan to have a special race at the end of the night? Like an Austrailian double back race where the last place car pulls of each lap until one car is left? Fun racing! If you have any ideas let me know. Also if you have not heard the results are now being posted on ARC website! Take it easy....

Cool deal! Diesel Fuel seems like a small price to pay for the use of a bobcat! Hopefully someone can get this info to Dan ASAP. Im sure he would jump at that deal.

Thanks DezPirate! Oh yeah, Happy Bday old timer! Geez!! Must be nice!

Dirty Dez:

Well I talked to Dan tonight and he seemed to reject the idea of using a bobcat with tires/wheels V.S. a tracked one.

He said it would be more trouble than it would be worth. He said he has experience using your kind of wheeled tractor and had to follow every pass with a vibrating smoother to fix what the wheels do to the track.

I don't agree with him as I have seen it done with your kind of tractor with great results. But you know I think Dan has been burned too many times by people and is hesitant to get involved with another questionable circumstance.

If you really feel like you want to help out, we could force it on him a bit. With proper coaxing he will accept your (or any) help. It just might take a little more effort to get him past his apprehension.

Thanks to you though!
Zac

Thumbs up

Its lame to say that Dan has been burned by tractor guys in the past. Jerry Blodgett and myself are the only guys I can think of in the past who have built tracks for Dan, and to say he has been burned is way out of line. I have never been compensated for my time or fuel and seing as how Jerry wont go back out there with his tractor im sure that he hasnt either. There is too much maintenance and cost involved with running these tractors to do it for free. Besides when someone is profiting off of your hard work it doesnt sit that well to not be reimbursed something as little as the fuel cost or the time to get the machine out to the track.
