I've been spending a lot of time up at WCRC for saturday races. I just got done reading this thread from page one to the last and I have to say it sounds like this track is well worth the trip over making the one up to Orange county.

I just got my 8ight 2.0 back together after a total tear down and look forward to a race day soon. Working a backyard track this saturday, but hope to meet up at ARC on the following saturday if anyone wants to carpool it from San Diego.

Nothing to fancy, but what do you think?

I was breaking in two engines for Ryan Lutz to take to the Worlds with him. The Long LSN IMO is easier to drive but does not yield the same power.

As you saw I was having a hell of a time with the S852 (orange head) Once I got it back to the lab it was flogged into submission.

I ran the Z852 (green head) out there really rich to break it in cold and fast. With my normal "mods" to the carb it went 8:20 on a tank with 31cc still in the tank. According to those calculations it would have gone another 2.75 minutes

the LONG LSN is way diffenent tunning then normal carbs!...the LSN is what controls ALL of the power band. vs the SHORT lsn that only controls up to half throttle....im serious!...they are tricky but WAY WORTH IT! IMO...anyways nice to see you out there with NITRO PERIOD!
