Do I need to have a transponder, if I want to run the truggy class. Was thinking about going. But I don't have a transponder or anybody to pit for me.

Generally speaking yes, you will need a transponder to race truggy. Not sure if Dan will make an exception, but maybe someone has a spare that you can borrow. I would just show up, don't be shy, and ask Dan to make an announcement. Usually someone is willing to help out. As far as a pit man, don't even worry about it, someone will be willing to help.

Depends on turnout. Light crowd, 7min heats with 20min mains. Big crowd, 5min heats with 15min mains.

rugby is way effing rougher than football, don't get me wrong football is rough but try playing with no pads or helmets and half the rules.
