i would like to suggest to RENJIE...

1) Buy a roller skate and a rope... wear the roller skate and tie the rope onto the 1/1 car... hold on to the rope and yell at the drive... "OK I am ready, you can drive the car now!!! but dont go too fast!"

2) A better suggestion is: Bring your language teacher along and go there by BUS or train... she will be good for
a) translation service
b) heater during cold time
c) buy you a cheaper ticket from the usher at the bus/train station
d) help you by becoming your PIT CREW and FUELER since i am not around!

so.. i did suggest 2 proposal... which one you prefer?

rubber will not overheat if you use the right rubber compound and insert combo. Ive seen 30 -45 minutes main using rubber in very hot weather without overheating. But using rubber can be very tricky and expensive to find the right combination

Bummer alert! when running foams you need to have access to a tire truer. Running with different tire diameter is not good handling wise

A good tire truer will cost you around US$150-not cheap

Good thing though is you can have overdrive/underdrive without changing pullleys especially running on shaft driven cars like NTC3- that is if you have a tire truer

CE!

Default New NTC3 Steering Blocks

Mop-Jimmy

just got these new steering blocks and rear hub carriers in HK. I was surprised that i saw them in HK as this this parts is not available on the K-fatory website.

They have the same construction as the Mugen and Serpent pillow ball system. This means less slop and more precise. Also the stock steering blocks will show some slop after couple of races.

The material used is nylon so this should be stronger also good news if you like to hitting the boards often hehe!

The set comes with turnbuckles and the necesary hardaware- so grab yours soon

i saw it somewhere in the thread in rctech.

i have asked my LHS and he said he can order if i want.

but for the mean time i wont need it. until i crack the thing!!!

i feel that the steering blocks and rear hub carriers is a good HOP UP for your TC3 with the advantages that you have mentioned!

Default NEW PIC OF HONGKOU TRACK

OK all,

i think from now on we call the Shanghai Military Club Track as HONGKOU TRACK.... its easier to type in the name.

Latest pic from LHS... picture taken from INSIDE of the premises.... its not the spycam anymore.

Picture from outside in

so... what shore do we have to use? not 30 i guess although the surface is like PUDONG TRACK... but this one more cleaner and the picture shows that they just cleaned the track using hosereel...(if u cant see the hosereel maybe the picture i didnt post it here).

LATEST news.... BUT NOT YET CONFIRMED is we are going to have a CHAMPIONSHIP May 2004. Get ready to RUMBLE guys!

RENJIE,

do you think we can go in there although we are not registered member. We can use TOMMY as our decoy!
