Doesn't Wolcott Hobbies have an indoor track just down the road? iv'e never seen it but have been told it's a small track.

It's too far for me to drive but good luck with the track.

Yeah, they pretty much only open that up during the winter when the locals can no longer race 1/8th nitro outdoors.

We are looking forward to doing some affordable electric racing all year round and we are very intrested in supporting novice classes and a growing the hobby in general. We also plan to hold races in conjunction with RCE and LI Raceway and plan to run the ROAR regional championships as a series race between the three tracks. Thanks for the wish of luck.

Though it's a 2.5 hour drive, I'll make the trek a couple times this winter, especially if your doing a series with RCE and LI.

No pictures yet as we are still working on the building, we haven't put in the track or pit tables yet. There isn't much to see right now.

We hope to be open sometime in December. A few contractors have pushed some dates back slightly, so December is being optimistic.

isn't that the old and famous (at least to us older guys) Rollermagic? are you guys planning anything for indoor electric touring sedans on carpet? that place is big enough.

No, its not the Roller Magic building, they are still in business by the way, we are located a few buildings down next door to the heath center and across the street from the old Shakers car dealership.

We have 7300 sq feet, enough for only one track (barely) with a hobbyshop and pit space. Besides, RC Madness and Speedzone Hobbies already have 1/10 carpet. Having a third track probably wouldn't be very successful (Hobby Chamber closed down).

There is a possibility of running some parking lot racing, but I would only really push cheaper classes such as the Speed Merchant spec cars as I think think touring car is too expensive and complicated to get a large weekly turn-out. Even for the off-road track, I'm mostly going to encourage my customers to run 10.5 brushless\Lipo 2wd buggy. I want everybody, and their friends, to be able to afford racing every week.

Wow, that's a good sized indoor dirt track... I'll be checking the place out with some friends.... I'm sure we'll end up racing there. We're going through withdrawals
