will compound just progress the grove faster? The track is a multi use facility and gets used for other things. So far we have raced for a year and have not noticed a grove to develop. I vacuum after every night and before each night starts, it takes some time but the carpet seems to maintain very well.

Yeah the compound will groove the track faster. If foams are working for you guys then go with what don't get you guys in trouble with the others who use the carpet.

Yeah, that is what we will do. Like Matt said the foams hook up surprisingly well. I am going to try to run Parma brand tires and see how they hold and hook up. Thanks for your advice. The track is fun and I know rubber would be cheaper but you can run foams for a few weeks before they are bad, depending if my car is of the rails.

Chris,

I look forward to the next time we race. I found a few things bad in my car that I am excited to see if it helps, I had two bad bearing in the rear hub carriers, and in my spur bearing cap. I know I won't beat ya but maybe keep up!
