I need drift instructions

Hi everyone,

I've tried to google rc drift instructions and search youtube videos. I've also searched several forums but I can't find anything straight to the point. Can someone please give me some tips and advise on how to practice the figure 8.

I dont know when to really let off the acceleration and vis versa.

I bought the Tamiya Supra a few weeks ago.

First thing first, do you have the right tires. If so, then let's start off with that nothing can replace wheel time. Getting out to an open(smooth) parking lot with a couple of cones and just doing it is the best way to learn. As far as throttle advice, just keep in mind that throttle input is what makes the car turn. Also, starting with a stock motor will help with throttle control. Once the car is sideways, the more the throttle, the more it wants to stay sideways. Tighter turning radius requires less throttle.

Hope that helps.
