Thanks Chuck & Jeremy! I think the new track layout is great and it's tightenned up the racing. It's always more intense when there's somebody just ahead of you and/or right behind you.
My Jammin was pretty good today, but I was also fortunate that Doug was feeling the effects of putting in nearly 3 straight days of hard labor changing the track and Chucks 8ight consumed another throttle servo. I expect they'll rebound next week.
Stober and McCully made their first appearances this year and both shown some speed. Now they just need to shake off some rust.
Chuck ran off with the truggy main while Tommy and Greg fought to the bitter end for 2nd place.
There was some unfortunate attrition in 1/8 Buggy Sport and Joel cruised at the end.
We could use a few more monster trucks to round out that class.

Matt, I hope you make it back soon. I would like another chance to stop your win streak at the Altoona Raceway!
Jeremy, I think your last set up should still work. I didnt change mine at all.
Due to the dry weather, the track was loamy and dusty but the track stuck together. Guys didnt need turn marshalled nearly as much even though traction was difficult to find. Thats a good sign right there.
I don't think set ups are goint to be as critical as they used to be. It's more about driving with the new layout. Expect to be racing the guy next to you more than the track.
