yeah the slash 4x4 is freakin insane, i picked mine up tonight (PE), stuck a deans on, put my receiver in and for a second put the 3 cell in it,, WWAAYYYYYYY to fast,, back to the 2 cell and it's still ballistic,, cant wait to run this class outdoors on dirt, gonna be SSIIICCCKKKK

I really wish that I had another electric vehicle to run...I have a vintage JRX-T that I used to run in stock truck at McCulloughs 7-8 yrs ago...did pretty well with it too...wouldn't that be funny!

speed test on slash 4x4 bone stock stock gearing and traxxas esc and motor 29mph off radar using a 8000 2cell lipo install a castle creations mamba max pro esc and 4600 motor 36 mph on same battery with alot more bottom end still controlable

anything on a stock PE 4x4 with the 9000kv mamba i got off brad,and a 3 cell 5400 with 18/54 gearing? or am i gonna be the first one straping a gps onto that configuration??



Rob!, Thanx Again man, realy saved my bacon with that power supply! it's perfectly what i was looking for, works great to run 2 chargers, and it's nice and compact, unlike my 35amper in my shop lol

Your welcome I-zuk. I figured it was dead on for what you needed. It was cool down there last night. I had to come down to give Aaron something and didn't want to leave as early as I did. Great thing you guys have going down there. I may bring the Slash down one of these weekends to race.

I got to meet Lou from Hidden Hangar. Great guy, met Brian Riegel (?sp), Tyler, both great guys as well.

you would be a first as far as i know also have heard that people was melting drivetrain on bigger motors not certain how true that is though

I know you'll appreciate the custom wire guide in front of the servo, the custom wire keeper on top of the diff mount ,and the silicone wire tubing covering the antenna wire from the receiver to the antenna mount.
If I had it to do over I probably would've just bought the Ve8. the tekno conversion is nice, but I ran into trouble getting the body to fit- The chassis guard had to be cut and I had to buy the shortest (45mm high) 14.8 battery, some of them are (52mm high).
The mechanical brake and clutch type pinion set-up would've also made for a wiring nightmare!
