I'm going to actually run a XX4 this summer. See you at TRS.
will you be running 4wd at TRS this summer?

Gixx -- glad you like it. That's what most of the guys run. Now I need to get some for myself

Chris -- when are you coming around? The mod open class ain't bad, in fact its fun as hell. Godula is the only truck, everyone else is mod 2wd!

Well Ed, guess what showed up in the mail today. Yep, you guessed it, my "defective" Orion Motor that J Pillars said was bad. I don't get it. He said in the email that it was defective, but now everything is OK. Hmmm, I don't get it. I guess I will find out this weekend. Thanks Ed, I'll be using the Orion for a test piece and I will use the Novak for whompin' on Rustler Boy.

Dave - No problem. Usually the best way to expedite the return of a product under warrantee is to procure an interium replacement. I would try them both back to back to see which one works bettter.

Just about every guy at the Oval Brushless Rracing League race was using Novak 13.5 motors.

Greg - You and Brad make an awefully cute couple.

Opening Day: It was a little cold, but it hardly rained at all and the track was good all day.

Congrats to McGhee on a hard earned 1/8 Buggy victory - what a great race! I think there were at least 3-4 lead changes between the top 3 guys in the last 3 minutes.

Doug won the truggy event after Chuck flamed out with 1 lap to go.

Sadly, only 2 electric vehicles showed up so we ended up in sportsmans. Maybe we'll see a few more when racing resumes on Saturday.

hey matt i'm getting the t3 tuned up, and i'm looking at a new engine for my gt. I would like to get back into it the next time you go. does jeff still want that xx4 i put it back together figuring then he would know how it comes apart. i found everything but a nut that hold the top of the shock on. unfournatuly the front belt broke when i was working with it. my advice would be to replace all three while it is apart. if he does not want it then no hard feelings maybe ill throw my old p 94 in it and give it a try.

Brian D - They don't usually have power at the track during the week.

Tom - Yep, its official. I'm back in 1/8 Buggy. With any luck it will be ready to go Saturday.

Brian R - Opening day turnout was still already pretty good despite some adverse weather forecasts. If you and just a few other of the electric guys can make it over the next couple of weeks, Mod 4wd/2wd should pick up a lot. And I'll be doing both mod truck and 1/8 scale as long as there's a class.

Ed,

As of right now, I'm planning on setting up the generator Wed evening. I have new software to install and we are are setting up a new desktop PC. I also have a few adjustments I'd like to try to catch McGhee in gas buggy and Chuck in Arena truck!

See you wed. night. I'm going to try my best to get time to water tonight.
