First off I am the current president of OVRCCC. I can tell you from expierience that I know what Rob is going thru with work. I personally am working 7 days a week 12 hour days. It has taken me from the duties of the club. Thankfully I have a great bunch of guys that have stepped up and picked up the slack. Bill is one of them. He has worked with Rob in the past and it has went flawlessly. No issues and the worked performed was great. Bill has been working with rob for the past 4 months to resolve this issue of the 4 transponders. I am not sure of all the communications that have happened between Bill and Rob but i do know that all we are trying to do is resolve this issue. So for Rob to play the "I don't have time" bit is sad. Find someone to help you resolve this issue. All we were hoping to get from posting on this thread is someone to stand up locally to help you out and fix this. Guess that ain't going to happen.

As you can see from Bill and my feed back we are not scammers. We are not on here trying to get more than what we deserve. We just want either our transponders or the check from the post office that Rob said he had. As far as not getting paid for his services, well that is in the pm's also.

If anyone can help us resolve this issue please contact either Bill or myself so we can get this taken care of.

I race at ovrccc, and let me say that Bill is an upstanding guy, and if there is a problem, he would bend over backwards to resolve the matter, Ozzie and Bill work hard to provide not only an outstanding atmosphere to race in, but also several beautiful tracks that are very well maintained. Personally id like to see these guys work out issues, after all were in this hobby for the fun, what ever happened here make it right.

It is equally as Sad that Bill would choose to get on our thread and "Trash" it as he stated. And if Bill was looking for other members help he went about it the wrong way. I can assure you and who ever else from your club that it's not any of the members/posters fault for whatever dealings were held. Again Bill should have been a little more tactfull in his approach.

In my defense, dated 8/12/10

So please lay the 'blame' on Rob, not me

I will certainly stay on them, and make contact with them everyday until this is resolved.

Ok so I am an outsider that has been back and read all the posts about the transponders. I am also a guy who was recently ripped off from a deal on RCTECH but that is a completely different topic.

From what I can see there were 4 transponders that were recieved and repaired. Then the transponders were shipped back to Bill. Bill did not recieve the transponders and when Rob got to checking into it with USPS he discovered they were lost. It was also stated that there was insurance purchased for the shippment of the transponders. Therefore, if they are indeed lost the money from the insurance claim should come to Bill with no questions asked.

It's simple. If I order a part from anyone (amain, tower, bed bath and beyond) they make sure I recieve my part. If it is proven that it was lost in the mail then they will send me another and file the insurance claim to recoup their cost.

I apologize for my inability to spell and hope that knowone bashes me for it.

I Agree, just man up and pay them!
Sad, this is happening, the only one loosing here is the RC club with the lost transponders!
Call Bill and resolve it.
He is a great stand up guy who is looking out for the club.
I have bought a lot of RC stuff from him! Never an issue top notch stuff!
100% Feedback!

Those of you Standing up for 'your guy', I respect that, and I know my 'trashing' your thread is upsetting, But Rob has left me no recourse

Not any of you have noticed that TWICE I gave my personal cell ph number to Rob to resolve this issue, Also you will notice that I gave Rob 1 'last chance' to resolve the issue before I escalated' it to this

I have nothing against any of you, my issue is with Rob and his denial of my claims, all he has to do is either call me, PM me, e-mail me, send smoke signals whatever, We [OVRCCC] needs either thier transponders back or the funds to purchase replacement ones

Simple fix Rob

I have more PM's I can post or I will forward them to ANYONE that wants them

Thankx, Bill

I understand you guys standing up for Rob, but read the posts. Several times Bill has sent his cell number. Several times Rob has mentioned the check is in the mail. All that Bill is asking for is to resolve this issue. It has been going on now for over 4 months.

If the transponders were lost during shipping as stated and a check was issued by USPS wouldn't the best solution be for the person that shipped them to contact USPS and have them re-issue a check? From every claim I have ever been involved in the shipper had to resolve the issue with the shipping company.

It shouldn't be too difficult for USPS to see if the check was cashed or not.

Default Uh huh

Heres the thing you guys don't seem to understand
no one localy, members of the track, and REG users of this thread simple DONT CARE!!!!!
This is between bill and Rob and we dont have any part of it, so
now, we are checking this board trying to get some kind of idea of the status and who's racing what this weekend, and all the last few pages have been about is a guy in a different state spamming PMs, and harrassing and super capping everything he says.

Now, what your doing!, is creating nothing but havoc to
the members of this track, take it elsewhere! This is not
the rob complant department, GROW UP, handle
it like an adult! I don't care about "oh but rob won't
call me back whin whin whin"
BOO HOO HOO!!!!!
Then you sit there and talk about how yours going to
"come down here" and do something about it, once
again attacking the users.
I'd like to see you talk the way you are on here to
my face, or to any other members!

I am in no way defending Rob, he's an adult
and can handle it., I know him to
be nothing but a standup guy, he's the kinda
guy that does what he says he's gonna do.

I have a real problem with you bringing the people
of this board into it.
And I personly am asking you to handle this matter and leave this thread and the members out of it! I don't wanna hear "well
u should blam rob, this is all his fault I'm
spamming your board blah BLAH!!! "

I won't ask again. I said what I wanna say, now...

Anyone else for truggy?
