I will be tamping the track tomorrow. If I remember, I will take some pics and post them. Sunday is looking to be a good day for racing.

It is cold and wet. Not sure if the temperature will be warm enough to dry the track any. I will be down there. Hopefully, given the weather and today being Mother's Day, we have some people come out.

Default Slash

What are you guys using in the Slash to check for low voltage on Lipos?

Track has been completely compacted, with a vibratory pan. Traction was very good. It is still damp in places, but cars were on it and it held up well.

We will be addressing some jumps and landings this week. Maybe rain will stay away this weekend.

Joe,

I am not 100% sure, but I think the Slash guys just run until they see a drop in voltage and then pull the car off the track.

Maybe Brian or Brent will add input.

Wow! should have checked my spelling...atleast "v" and "r" are right beside "c" and "e" on the keyboard...the word in the middle was supposed to be "come".

I hope the rain stays away this weekend...being a little higher up in the temp would be nice too.

Yes, that's what I told my son. He ran two packs until the car slowed. Both packs did not give a low voltage alarm on my charger when we got home. So I think running until the vehicle starts to slow down is ok. Just be sure to store them at the proper voltage. Any good LiPo charger should have a storage mode.
