I'm still in here. Low grade fever and white cell count is still up to 13,000. Hopefully before fall, I will be out of here and able to race with you guys. lol..

Man, do I need a smoke.

Wagonhill, how long have you been racing CR? I remember that place..it was near the Butler fairgrounds...was a long time before I ever raced though. Used to get parts there but was into bashing then.

Oh the good old days, Firehouse Raceway and Wagon Hill, and when 1500mah was top of the line! I do believe the re-chargeable AA's in my radio are 2400's, man what we would have done for a 2400mah battery back then!!

Those were the days...I remember running 1200SCR's...we would charge them once for practice...then discharge them with 10 brake light bulbs in series...charge it back up for another race...we only charged them twice a day...the second charge was the best for the week...we kept a resistor on it all week to keep it dead..

We also used 1200SCR's in stock class at wagonhill with no hotlaps and bumpboxes to keep the voltage up for the start of the race...

The delicate 1700SCE's...long run times but would 'puff'often with bad cells
