Default Altoona raceway

Can someone tell me if altoona raceway will be open in 2010 and if their will be enough truggys to race every weekend? I am trying to decide weather to get a buggy or truggy. I like the truggy better but their are no fun if you don't have anyone to race with. The web site is not working and eather is the phone # for the race station. Thanks.

I would look into a buggy, the truggy's are a bit scarce unless we have a big race! We always, no matter what have a good field of buggy's!!! If you have any more questions or need help please feel free to post here! AE, Mugen, Jammin, and Losi are common as well, wich is something to think about because parts and set-up help would be easily accessible over the course of the season!

I expect the electric side to run very smoothly. Luke and Lou and very serious about having the race run with little to no hickups. Yeah Luke went to the promoter and talked to him about a lower price. Original price was like 60 something a class with no discount for a 2nd class but after they talked Luke got all the electric guys a price break. The 1/8th guys are still having to pay the big price.

I would get a buggy (mugen, ae, OR losi)...as Gixxer said...truggies are scarce. If you run a Mugen MBX-6 I just about have a whole buggy in parts. It stinks to break and not have a part available so try to stick with what everyone else runs.

.......you know, I glue one tire to my forehead/hand and never hear the end of it! BTW as previously stated I have hired Ed as my OFFICIAL tire gluer! His contract will be valid through the 2011 season!!!
