Losi could barely get the strike out the door even when it was two months late. I never would have expected them to have a 4x4 to compete with the slash. They are still trying to work out production problems with the strike including bent dog bones, idler gears premature wear, and outdrives and camber links snapping all due to inferior grades of metal that were used by their suppliers in the production gear that were not used in the development stages. Losi is not what it used to be before horizon bought them out. It's no longer a racing line of vehicles. As much as we love them for racing, we "racers" are becoming the minority in there sales figures and the backyard basher is the majority which I believe is why we do not see the vehicles we all want from the racing side.

You've got your choices.....If you want small hardcore, support a company like Mugen, the big $ machines-Losi and AE.

I agree man, maybe losi will bring something out to run with the slash 4x4 after it becomes the biggest raced class everywhere, and Traxxas is about to release there next briliant idea in there long term plan to take over the world. lol

Ah well, losi should just stick to what they do best, 1/8th scale.

Default Rain update

It hasn't rained since early this afternoon. Jim and I were just there, brooming off the water and will be there bright and early. All the standing water was removed tonight. Its not calling for any more and is supposed to reach 60 tomorrow. So we should be good to run. I still have your shirts too Brian. Hope to see you tomorrow.
