I'm not real sure, this late in the season, how many more race days we have left.

But we will try our best.

Here's my announcement

Altoona Raceway will be participating in " Christmas Carol " this year. So here is what we can do.
On race day, the first class will be the normal 10$, but here is where it gets cool.

If you bring a new, unwrapped toy, price ranged no more than 10 dollars. You will race as many additional classes as you want for free.
If you do not want to participate by purchasing a gift, the money for your additional classes will go to our donation to Christmas Carol.
Either form of support is fine.

We can help out a wonderful cause and gain alittle exposure.

Rob thumbs up on this idea. You and all others will be helping others that are less fortunate to have a great Christmas. Props to you guys for doing something like this. I have to say that would be a great idea for other tracks to the same thing if at all possible.

When I took over the track, I promised my racers and myself that I would turn it into a very good place.

Fun, family oriented, zero drama and just an overall great place to visit/race.
Things are coming together, some things slower than I like, but forward progress is always a good thing.

Next year, I have some other great things planned for giving back to the community. As the details unfold, they will be disclosed. Not to mention all the track changes and additions that are in the works too.

Altoona Raceway is committed to keeping the hobby alive and well, in Central PA, and helping anyone we can in the process.
