Headlines for the Altoona raceway involving two 1/8 power houses:

first, perennial power house Sam Crawford has baby! Congrats!

Next, injury plagues new 1/8 heat Matt Morris! Could he be cut down just as he's reaching his prime? I was at the track with a full arm cast in 07 racing, so the sprained wrist must be severe! cough*bitch* cough

Seems to have needed a lot of editing to make her PG...can't wait to see.

Sam has a baby and Sam's baby is about to return to the track, seems like everything is falling into place.

Congrat's Sam and family, hope all is well!

Stober, can't wait to see the new BODY-IES!!!!

Jharing sounds like a gear mesh problem, I use a piece of paper folded in half then roll the spur around with my finger while holding the paper between the spur and clutch bell, once the paper is between the two tighten down the motor and roll the paper out! WaLa!!! Perfect mesh each time! Next I will demonstrate how to cook a juicy grilled pork tenderloin!

Morris, hope all is well!

I should be there tomorrow with my son. Is there still a sportsman class or is it slash only? I don't have a car for him to race right now. I could turn my throttle wayyy down on the scale and let him run it. I needed a break because I just wasn't into it at all. I haven't touched my car since Motorama except for charging batteries last Friday. Is anyone still running Mugen?

Yea, there are still some Mugen's running around. There will also be a Kyosho there Saturday that may look familiar. Not racing, but there for testing and set up help.

I wouldn't trade my 6 in for the world! Congrats again Sam!

I think it wouldn't be a problem to let your son run that Baja of yours in the slash class!

Stober I can't confirm the track but there is a nice breeze going right now and the sun is out so I would think the track is drying out pretty well! Chuck is updating the site so check it as well!
