No need to apoligize about confusion I'm alway's confused

yeah i bookmarked their site I just didn't know if people ran on days that they didn't hold races like this saturday.Because It seems nothing is happing this saturday Anywhere and I would like to at least run a track

I work sundays so I can only make saturday races. Which really blows but money is nice to have.

I'm going to be coming down on saturdays A.S.A.P and hope to make it every sat.. they hold races.

At the moment I'm only running a MT but maybe there can be a MT turn out if people start coming down there and seeing more classes. I hope because I don't want to buy a buggy this year. I'll get a MT buzz going on all the sites I can, to have more guys to run with if need be.

ok guys i got the 1/8th scale itch but i am totally anti-nitro, so before i go drop some mad cash, would anyone object to running w/an electric 8th scale? Let me know what u guys think, if its gonna cause a problem then ill stick w/slash with no problem, on the other hand if no probs then I am gonna start lookin round to see what i can find

I don't know how the two would compare speed and handling wise. But I'm sure you would have to pit the same as the Nitos do and also not sure how you would fair on the longer mains.

Just my 2 cents.

Ahhh good point on the longer mains.....never thought about that, I do know the speed is a little better on the electric, but my driving would make up the difference there. I know there was one running last year w/the nitros up at oak hill and he just drove away from the rest of the nitro cars, but I am not looking for a speed advantage, I would "adjust" my speed control so that the speeds were equal

Well the HUGE battery you would need to run a 15 minute A Main would probably bring your speed down a little. I doubt anyone would have a problem with it as long as it was adjusted so that you did not have a speed advantage due to being electric. But you should still be able to set up a better handling car and gain some of that speed back. I would be a touchy thing to set your speed, someone with a lot of knowledge of the 1/8 Buggys would have to determine that. Then again we are all here to have a good time and race, as long as you were not consistantly outrunning the best of them all should be fine. If you do, we just snap off you back wing and see how you can drive it then.

And for cash races you have to roll a dice before we start and that will be the # of times you have to do a simulated flame out

I like the dice roll. Also a 4 sided dice roll for the number of tires he is allowed to use. AND for his pit stop just like every one else he adds fuel...well charges his battery. Ok, maybe we let him swap out for a charged battery if running on three tires or less.

And he should probably be required to make engine noises while racing.

Those last 10 or so posts are freakin hilarious!!!!!! Definatley must make nitro sounds, and stop at various places on the track for simulated flame outs! Instead of three tires just run Losi Eclipse tires!!!! Your battery would outlast them sticking to the rims!!!

I think Brent should have to run with a 12v gel cell in the buggy. That way the power is down and the weight is up!

I'll run with you man! I don't care!
