Sell that shit for scrap metal Sam, they pay by the pound But seriously, sell anything on ebay using the words 'oldschool' and its gone. You comin on Sunday? After Altoona gets some rain tomorrow, it could be like last weekend....perfect! I saw on 'heard in the pits' Chuck saying how his budget was going to be tight for the week after Stober hustled him for his money in the main. Side bets are where its at

According to the Altoona Raceway website the race starts 2 pm tomorrow.

I'm bringing the Mod 4wd Buggy and 1/8 scale as usual, but I'm also bringing my GT2 just in case a Gas Truck race breaks out.

You never know, it could happen.

Well, we almost had a Gas Truck race. Its a shame we didnt, cause mine was working great.

And there was a slight track change. We moved one of the jumps a 1/2 hour before the race and it worked really well. I think the current layout/jump location is one of the best this season.

The track was changed but the results are the same, Stober in 1/8 scale and Chuck in 4wd Mod. But the racing was extremely close in both. I ended up #2 in both. Which is just about right.

I bought a set of the new Jaco touring car tires today. The new Prism wheels are a drastic improvement over those old dish rims. I cant wait to try them out.

'heard in the pits'-Chuck was so discouraged at another monetary loss in 1/8 buggy that he packed up and left his mod buggy out on the track!

Default Website / Mod 4WD Video

OK Guys -

The site is fully updated, results are up - sorry for the delay.

Racing has been very, very good lately and track has really got back into shape - it's been alot of fun.

The next 5 weeks should bring us ideal racing conditions with cooler temps, available water and the same FUN Altoona racing!

Please come out and race, we have a class for everyone!

Check out last week's Mod 4wd / MotorStorm video -
2 seconds separate 1st and 2nd after an 8 minute run.

Check out Ed's pass at 1:12!

Also - Congrats to Josh Campbell!

Stober - I plan to unleash the Jedi mind tricks on you this week - You must go down!

Chuck-you see Worlds qualifying is Wed-fri ,then mains on Sat+Sun? I want to check some of it out. I was getting filled in on the Jammin Worlds kit. A lot of stuff going on in the kit(truggy gearing, lots of 7075 instead of steel bits, chasis, shock towers, etc). Some of the guys just got their kits 3 days ago so the hustle is on to get em dialed in. I explained to them I have a lot of money riding on these upcoming races in Altoona, but still no kit for me Plus, everyone is looking to get out of this beautiful weather and go indoors
