Yes. Just like a 27T is slower than a 19 turn brushed motor.

Matt, If 17.5/lipo is too fast for the 2008 TRS Oval Championships winner (Bob Rhodes/Goingbrokeracin) than I'm fairly confident its too fast for me and 95% of everyone else too.

Matt 21.5 with LiPo is as fast as 13.5 with NiMh because of the extra voltage. After talking to Bob Rhodes the decision was made to go with the 21.5 LiPo BRL Rules class over the originally decided 17.5 option. The speeds will be pretty much the same because of the addition of LiPo. Reason------The BRL 21.5 LiPo class is the most common class these days for Oval racers and since that is the case it will be easier to promote races and welcome others to the track.

Lipo and a 17.5 is equivalent to 4 cell and a 10.5 motor which is considered the Pro Mod class in BRL. I enjoyed the speed of the 13.5 4 cell (equivalent to 21.5 Lipo) class last year. It is fast enough to have fun but controllable enough to still be able to race close. I would actually like to see Novak build a 25.5 for Lipo classes as a starter class. Bob

Its really feels like a time warp now that 'Heard in the pits' has returned!

I got it handed to me today, but no excuses, I just got to drive better in the mains.

You know I'm always looking for speed. I'm seriously considering the Stober 3 tires for 4 wheels set up. That was dialed!

Wasn't Chuck having some tire blow off issues using Losi tires a few weeks ago? Seems to be a trend

Default Eclipse

Yeah I had a hell of a time keeping my last set of Eclipse's glued.

Looking forward to a triumphant return to 1/8 Buggy on Saturday. Bring on the dust bowl!

I lost tires two weeks in a row...it's frustrating. My car is almost to the point where it feels good to me, a couple more tweaks and it'll be good to go.
