Brian, The ROAR race that was scheduled for 8/2 was going to be for Gas Truck and Truggies.

I am a definate for Mod Truck and 4wd Mod for the ROAR race on 8/23. I just hope that the TRS and ROAR can resolve the promotional issues by then.

I checked the ROAR website a couple weeks ago and there was absolutely nothing posted about the Region 2 race dates. If they cant even give the TRS a shout out for hosting the race, why pay the fees?
ed,
sam just gave ya the answer...so i have heard anyways...they are alot better for scale like tracks....where the xxx4 is better for the higher bite tracks...like mccs in door or something of that nature.....i havent got it yet...but im more than ready to try it out...and yes i also heard they were a pain in the a double s to work on..but if it will get me to the top of an a-main and a possible win it will be worth it for me....cause this xxx4 is making me look much worse than i really am.....lol

Mike - Nice paint job! Did you use an air brush? Are you racing it this weekend? It looks ready for the track.

Just so you know, when you do make it, most of us are usying JConcepts Goose Bumps tires when the track is dusty and dry and Holeshots when the track is damp.

Hey thanks Ed, yea I airbrushed it myself. I don't have all my electronics in. I'm in need of a saddle pack at the moment and a few other things. I'm looking at possibly 1st week of September to come up and visit family and racetrack.

If you're looking at motors/escs and need to save a few dollars you should definately consider the Caslte Sidewinder 5700 system. They can usually be had for around $140.

I'm running the Sidewinder 4600 and its hanging nicely with the GTBS/Spheres.

I really like not needing a fan or having to mount a large capacitor.
