Jim...i agree, that was probibly one of the best bumper to bumper races i ever had...that was a class act move you did when we got hung up and you waited for me, thats what racing is all about!!

I wanted to comment on yestersays triple main format.....that was the first time i have ever done it and i LOVE it!! i wish we did it like that every week, its cool to do the rocket round and then have three races that actuailly count tword your overall finish. even if someone has a bad race or breaks it still leaves a chance to do well in the other two and average out the final positions

i may have used the wrong term, what we did was ran 3 minutes per class and your fastest lap set the grid. i think (but dont quote me on this) that they are going to run a longer "qualifier" than the three minute one we did yesterday and take the fastest lap per person to set the grid

This weekend was a trial run for 'fast lap' qualifying with the new software. I think it went pretty well and I expect Doug will use the same format for Motorstorm.

For anyone who hasnt done it yet, its very simple. They turn the loop on for 5 minutes for each class and let the vehicles run and record fast laps. After the laps times are recorded the starting grid set based your fastest single laps for the rest of the event.

We then run triple mains with 1 throw out.

The format is a lot of fun because throughout the whole day you never hear the phrase:

"Its IFMAR qualifying - if somebody is faster than you let them buy and you'll both be faster".

perfect explanation of flying lap qualifying edward. the whole idea is spend less time qualifying and more time racing (AAA) main events with one throw out.

Savoya, Vega - Mugen Seik/Ninja 1 & 2 over top of losi/Aigoin and the whole field at the Euro warm ups.!!!!!

build time - 5 hours 29 minutes.

McGhee, sorry about the mishap at the start of A3, lets pray for the rain to stop some time this year and we'll do battle again.

Brad, lets watch the weather, I will know my 3:00PM today if I'm traveling this week or not.

It is snowing in Johnstown! what the............
