Congradulations to Brad and his wife Jo on the birth of the first child, Madeline. I spoke with Brad this morning and both mother and child are doing great. And no - Brad didnt pass out.

Brad - you are a dad now. Feel free to stop by my pit table anytime you need advise or need to borrow some simple green.

Matt- Here is the race report;

Touring Car; Brian TQd but had some trouble at the start so he dropped back to 4th? I was in first about 2 minutes in when the expertly painted yellow/black/blue/green/orange Mi3 appeared right on my bumper. I was running some good laps, some of my best, but other than driving an extremely wide car, there was nothing I could do. Brian was putting down some insane 11.5 second laps on his way back up to the front and got inside position on the straight passed me and then started building a big lead from there. It ended up being Riegle, me, McGhee, Meyers, and Alshouse.

Oval; It was a clean well driven main. Markle and Meyers battled for the win, and Me, Hockenberry, and Kalemba battling for 3rd place. It ended up: Markle, Meyers, Hockenberry, Me and Kalemba.

TT01: Jared Markle wins

Losi Slider: A new class won by a first time racer! A kid named Michael (sorry I can remenber his last name) won the main in his first race. He drove well and did a great job. And hats off to Brian Reigle for helping the Slider racers stop traction rolling by simply applying strapping tape to the right front tires. Ingenious!

If everything goes as planned there will be a track change for the cash race this Friday.

Ordered your new Mazda 6 today so Donnie can get it done for you. I will bring it up Friday.

Matt my car was awesome in the main except for the hesitation on the start with my brushless setup but it is the price I pay to run my Castle with a sensored motor. It is worth it to me as the no maintenance on motors and then running lipos for the first time was awesome. Car was killer and would of easily went 31 in the main if I didn't have a 17 second lap about 1/2 way thru and my slow first lap. Other than that my car ran excellent. My 2nd to last lap with 11.7 so it is the same speed from start to finish so no complaints.

Ed drove well and made me work along with the others. Clean racing all night long except for me tapping Mike in the one heat and spinning him (totally my fault as I miss judged going into the end straight corner and got him).

Track was really fast last night as it warmed up inside and traction was really good in the groove. I only made one change from last week to go to one stiffer spring in the front of the car and once I got use to it I found the car to be faster.

Great job Jim, thank you!!!

In response to the "other" pictures.........The Godfather's wife or more commonly referred to as "THEE BOSS", wanted me to show Ed the start of the baby making process! The lesson was taken well and Ed went home and scrubbed himself with LAVA soap and a stiff bristled brush, and reportedly kept saying saying somthing about being dirty and violated!!!!

What can I say? I stop by and visit and look what happens. But no matter what the situation I allways try to learn from it and make observations.

1 Madeline is amazingly well behaved. (Unlike her dad!)

2 Having babies rocks!

3 Goatees are ichy. Eeeeeewwwwwww!
