hey guys, I just heard about your track and am interested in coming out this season. The track looks great, just curious to what classes you will have running and what tires you would suggest there....

awesome job on the track and it's great to know that there is a track only 20mins away from me for a change

I am not the guy to ask (Kings Kid is the track owner) I know that on Mondays and Saturdays we'll have practice and June 9 is the first scheduled "race day" although on normal practice days we'll have play races but won't count laps. I'm not real sure on classes ask Rick(Kings Kid) but I know we'll have 2wd buggy stock to 19 turn9(Brushless 13.5 and 4300) 1/10th, and 4wd mod 1/10th, and I'm not sure on gas but we'll at least have one class. Once again Rick's the guy to ask.

Can you explain your process of running on race days (june 9th)? Also do you guys have on-site power for electric, and what time racing will start? And a final question what classes do you run, and what class has a greater turn out most of the time (4wd electric buggy or 10th scale electric truck)?

I will try to make it out there that day as long as I have some free time.

Carbon madness,
We do have electric available, tables will be setup, racing will start a 1:00pm,
track will open for practice at 11:30 am, we have plenty of 2wd ele buggies, 2wd ele trucks, 4wd ele mod, 2wd gas, 4wd gas. It's a toss up as too which class will be larger. Three cars or more, we'll run a class. If I missed anything please pm me or reply here. be Blessed, Rick

That covers most of it, but you didn't say how you count laps (do you use an AMB system, if so do you have transponders that I could use, or just have someone count the laps).

Also what tires work best out there?

BTW nice track (I took a trip out there today to see where it was at).

We are currently going to use the manual lap counting system.

Glad you like it. best tires are hole shots. M3 grip a little better. R3 last a little longer. We have a computer scoring system without transponders.

Cool, I look foward to racing out there.

p.s. they only make the hole shots for the front wheels on a 4wd buggy in M3 compound (thats what I plan on racing ). lol
