i have ran at marshalls a few times myself.and i know the size of the track.it is smaller there to what i usually run.so on this discussion thread about what motor to run....just thought i would add my 02...

ok last year while i raced at altoona...(everyweek) which is prolly double the size of marshalls....ale know how big it is there...anyways i ran c027 stoc motors against everyone running 13.5 brushless...we were pretty much equal except for top end down the straight.they have a little more punch as well.
i have never ran a 17.5 so i dont know how they compare to a c027 motor.

although last year in practice i threw in a 19 turn motor in and was faster than all the 13.5 motors out there running with me.

but i honestly think for a track size of marshalls that running a stock motor/13.5 should be pretty close to in comparison.

just thought i would thorw that in....lol

i will be there to run thanksgiving weekend.might run 2 classes......depends on if you all running rubber tire as well.

lmk on that..
but i will run either 13.5/stock motors or a 19 turn..dont matter to me.i will have to buy a 19 turn motor there and build it...but not worried about horsepower either....i think i build decent motors....

anyways ill se ya guys soon.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, then you have an electrical problem.

Not to get off topic, but does anyone wanna run 1/12 stock on Sunday? A couple other Dirt Runners guys might be coming up on Sunday and they only have 1/12 cars, not TCs. And I'm itching to run my 1/12. I'll have it with me again just in case.

You need only 3 to run..I might,ISAID might ,maybe ,possibly have one ready to go.AAron, can do that for you,no problem.Just try to be there a bit early. You can also "break it in" by running your car at 1/4 throttle off the fllor for about 1-2 minutes.Morris,as it stands NOW,Till we decide.it's 17.5/19turn.Rubber is few but mighty(or is that the marines???).Bring both we should have enuff....the rubber converts are building..See all.M

lol Well... I would say try a stock motor at first, and if I blow you away, switch to the 19T (Then, when you're not looking, I'm gonna swap a 55T crawler motor into your car) Hey... At least you'll have lots of torque, right?

Now call me the cryer, This has gotten under my skin and i will bring it to the attention of Bill that we should just keep brushless with brushless and ask if we can have a 19t class. Then this way if you like brushless and can afford or already have one then run brushless. for those who can handle the 19t and don't want to spend the money for brushless or just can't then they can run 19t we had a lot of fun running the 19t sunday more fun then we have seen people have in a while and i think there is alot closer comp in this class then any other, so i think this would be a good class
(for those who want to have close competition and can handle the 19t) to run.

I willNow who's whining???Your gonna take your toys and go home if you dont get your way???Not in the spirit of fun you quoted when you brought this whole thing up!I do not want to go back to stock motors!!!!19T is too much fun!MY OPINION!It is NOT a question of who can or can't handle anything...it's a question of Parity.(equalness)So,lets ALL work towards the solution for All of us!M out and over and ready and willing...

Yes equalness, so to stop the tears, all motors in a class should be the same Right? Best form of equalness you can find, would you say? And i will agree my brotha from another motha, 19t over 27t any time. 19t IS much more fun, with out a doubt. No more 27t Please!! only for the novice class.
