well,

no, jamie isnt scared, he hired a one handed circus freak called Lefty Nub to drive for him. I hear he is a little squirrly in the head, but runs pretty good. Ive never seen him race before from the sidelines, but hear he isnt to bad of a driver.

SUNDAY,SUNDAY,SUNDAY at Marshalls Hilltop Hobbies Its Practice,

oh and alot of talk about F1 spec, MINI, and, well, RACING.

See you all in a little while.

Bill

You have to watch out for Miller....if he shows to race for real this winter in 1/12th, you are all going to race for second.

Hey Bill, I think that the F103 would be a good choice. It is currently in production, parts are easy to get and it is fairly cheap. The difficulty is the body. you can get a kit without one. But there is also a kit with the hard plastic body. We may want to consider staying with the LMP body since it will certainly cut down on the broken front arms (since some of us like to build obstacle courses instead of race tracks). I have not found an in production lexan LMP body for this chassis.

Maybe we can use these and the duratraxes for those that have em.At least until the duratraxes break enuff without spares to warrant a changeover to the Tamiyas. There is a couple of LMP bodies out there somewhere which I imagine can be fitted.I do seem to remember something about the width of these tamiyas being non standard tho,so maybe not.Might have to stick with the tamiya stuff.Tamiya does listb F1 body sets on the usa site..some are still available, which should fit this chassis.Mario.
