Something interesting???????? Don't know.Alex,I found the proper hinge pins to fit the F201 wheels to the GT chassis. Can email the part number if you want. Also,The LMP body does not work with the GT stock bumper. Have to find the right one.I heard it's the same as the TAO5 one but,not sure. Have to work in the studio tomorrow so I probably won't have mine ready, will try to at least get the wheels/tires on.Sunday it si.Jeramie...you smell funny. Mario.

First post! I just stumbled upon this site a few days ago, and I just noticed this thread. I've been to Marshalls a few times, but never to race. I saw on their schedule it says that they're going to start asphalt racing in May (the 19th?). Is that oval and road course racing? I'm looking to come out and see what it's like, and then at some point in the future I'd like to try my hand at one of the spec classes.

How many people usually show up for the Touring Car spec class? What car are most people using in that class? Would a TA04 (mine) or TT01 (my brothers) be competitive in that class? Otherwise would anyone recommend another class for two beginners with those cars (novice?)

Thanks

First off welcome my name is Alex

welll durring the summer it is mainley oval there is a roadcorse and if there are enuff people the will run in

the roadcorse is more popular during the winter inside on the Rug

any car wil work in the spec class you just have to run a spec motor and battery

this is a novice class both for roadcorse and oval
you have to run a traxxas stinger or sumilar can motor (johnson mubushi)
and a speck pack

now if you look at the special races there is the asphalt rash special (i think thats what its called) there will b a decent onroad class for that event

most of the roadcorse guys and gals run offroad durring the summer

Thanks for the reply.

I didn't even realize they ran a road course on the carpet track. Is that where the TC spec class usually run?

ya they had a good class of spec racers of all ages

the stock class has good competition when you ready to take that next step
