i believe the final verdict is the guys that have two cars are running rubber with one and foam with there other one the rest of this year, then everyone will have to see whats going on for next year... which will never happen unless you hold a vote at the roadcourse rendevous or what ever the hell bill named that race. in march? so foams sould be here for the rest of this year.

i know he was fast. that guy.........i was thinking for next year that maybe we could run a rubber and foam class. obviously foams are about a second faster per lap. so maybe we allow for the rubber racer to run any stock motor they want. and instead of buying the motor from bill they buy a spec tires. stormer has team orion rubber for 26.00 for 4 which is about the same price a a motor. or any other thought on how to get the rubber tires and advantage then everyone could run what tire they want and the lap times should be consistanly equal. just a thought. my main objectives are to keep the class competitive and atleast 10 cars per class. what about lipo,s???????

i dont think we will have enuff people 2 run 2 classs we will have to take a poll

id like to see us use the same motors and use a spec tire that way everyon is on the same tire no playing with inserts or wheels and one set will last a year

that just takes the tire variable out and it will come down 2 driving not who can spent the most money to find teh best tire (iv talked to guys that run open tires and thats what happens )

i we had to id b up for open tires as long as we run the same motors

and with some tuning time i think we can get within 1/2 a sec of foam

rubber seem to b taking off everwear i just thot it woud b nice to try something different and maybe add some fun also

2 more cents.....Should be spec tires as these would be the biggest cost of the class.I think instead of one compound spec maybe 2...LIke 24's and 22'sor 27's.The price is the same and with the work Alex and I have done already,we know both would work.Gives a bit of a tuning option and I think some vehicles would work better with one or the other.As for motor/battery...Open it up.Bill will want the spec track motor of course,it's his racetrack.No real problem there(personaly do wish we could go to open motors but as I said).Batts..same as we have now,maybe open it to lipos.Don't think that is such an issue....too much horsepower will work against anyone.

I don't want to see any class watered down tho.So....Either we all agree or keep a 2nd car for the rubber.
