Default Top Gun SE track. Long Island Racers read.....

Hey,
I dont know if any of you know about the efforts by Top Gun Sports and Entertainment to get a Drage Strip, Nacar track, and entertainment park on Long Island in unused public land. things have been looking good for them because of the failure's of the Staten Island Nascar track. Well I was over in the discussion board's on http://www.topgunse.com and recommended an R/C facility (on-road/off-road/carpet tracks and maybe a shop) so maybe we can have some off-road racing (because we all know how much effort SSH put into off-road) and some more visibility for the hobby. and a place for HPI Challenge for you HPI fans. visit the boards and show some support for it. I am friends with the owners of Action Hobbies and Xtreme Hobbies and Im sure I can find someone to set-up shop over there.

Pete from Top Gun e-mailed me for some info. I'm putting something together for him, like pictures, videos, websites and stuff. If you have anything that might help I would appreciate it.

Do you race on road or off road? I'm an on road racer so I'm picturing something for everyone from 1/5 to 1/12. I don't know what to ask for as far as an off road track. It should be big enough for monster trucks and 1/8 buggies, but I'm not sure how many people race those.

Are you talking about Xtreme Hobbies in Deer Park? Good looking shop and it's around the corner from me.

yes my brother's friend owns that shop.

I would like to race off-road. the truck in my avator is my race truck.

for Off-Road Id like to see a big wide track that can accomodate the larger scale's also. HPI is putting 1/5 on the map with the Baja so look foward to seeing 1/5's around alot more. Ill talk with my friend to make up a track layout.

good to see you in RC Tech. I guess we'll be in contact.
