Default Enhance your calm

I am NOT changing stock main times to 8 minutes, it was just a discussion point, and the discussion says no!

maybe we can find another way to make stock interesting and alive! Like randomly throwing M80's out on the tracK? Or letting my dog loose on the track at the 2min mark?

Default Thanks

Thank you to everyone who came out, it was a awsome day of racing!
I know there were some concerns with the difficulty of the layout. We have some NASTY little bugers that we have yet to layout, and you will see them for the next three races! Yes, that means the Challenge race will be a medium to high level of difficulty track. Expect the remainder of the season to test your ability to turn right and left. We decided to back off this week because of the added section possibly being a visual distraction, but that appears to not have been a problem. Fill S. suggested that we use soda, because it fades less than the VHT, the problem is that the Nitro guys and foam tires do not go well with soda? Gus suggested, hitting the track with a light coat of VHT before the mains which will bring the traction back. We ran out of VHT Sunday because I didn't account for the extra 40 feet of track. We will try this tactic next week, since he was right about the methenol/VHT mix, I will have to assume he is right about the touch up spray! Gus is old school and has seen it ALL!
Congrad's to Alex on the first ever Tri-Fecta!

Hey Chris,

Thanks again for a great day of racing. Just to touch up on what Fill s. told you. I use grape soda and snow cone syrup at our track in Camarillo. You can buy the snow cone syrup at any Smart & Final store. If I remember correctly, it's about ~5 to 6 dollars a gallon. If you apply for and get a Smart & Final card (Free BTW), then you should get a small discount on it. I use grape soda because it has the highest sugar content (34g compared to the others). The mixture is simple, (1) 1 gallon of snow cone syrup to (2) 2 liter bottles of grape soda. Adjust accordingly for smaller or larger sprayers. This stuff is the ticket. Thanks...

I had to go and open my big mouth! You guys were on and I was not. Good job and good racing. Of course running with a one way for the first time ever didn't help but my driving was just not there yesterday. Still had a lot of fun. (No major glitching!!!!)
