No compaints here, I just wan't to see Titus Hobbies around for years to come to give the Indland empire and others a place to race.

I make sure I am first at the track every Sunday to help out. I strongly believe in supporting our community and what Chris and Family have put together is great!

As far as track conditions, heck I will run on mud, I do not care. Every week I get better, meet new people, and have fun.

I compliment you Chris on a great Job, like I said before, just want you to stay and not fold like so many others have done and I think schedule tweakin could help.

For those who have not visited Team Titus in Corona, come check it out. Great racing, nice people, and gooooooooood food!
(my 3 cents)

Default Thanks for the nice words

Hey guys and gals, lets not forget why we started doing this in the first place... its fun, relaxing, oh... and it's fun! None of use are Brian Kinwald, Mark Pavidas, or The Dragon! No one is going to loose their sponsorship racing at our track, oh.. and no-one is going to get one either! This place is for fun. If your a serious racer, looking for a sponsorship, use our track to try new things, and get away from the stress of having to be at you best all the time. Everyone else, just have some fun, bring your family, get fat like me on the food, and make some racing buddies. Team Titus is about the older guys teaching the new guys track etiquette', and how to get their cars running right, and most of all having fun. Some of you fast guys, take 5 minutes each round and give some advice to the new guys, you'll be suprised how much more fun your day is, seeing them excited about running a little faster. Remember, to the new guys, you are as fast as Kinwald!

my 5 cents Canadian (exchange rate= 2 cents)

Default Possible change

We are now seriously considering changing the entire race schedule to Friday night's at Hobby Town USA of Corona. This means each race would move forward 2 days to Friday Night. The lighting is excellent, their would be both food and a hobbyshop, the response as to when the next race would take place their was incredible! Finally, the current thursday racing is now being moved to Friday. SOOOOOO, your response will dictate wether we make the Sunday racing move to Friday... The Thursday to Friday move is already in effect per the city request!

Default Friday

Friday night sounds good. We can stay up late and don't have to worry about work the next morning.

Having a Hobby Store close to me when I race is a gooooooood thang!!!!!!!

Default Racing in Corona, CA

ChrisCrash;

There has always been only 2 problems running at the HS on Sundays. (and I know you've heard this before)

1) The races have ALWAYS been held the same weekend as the Citrus College program, so both tracks suffer on turnout somewhat.

2) With the track being set-up against the courts, the dust likes to build up in that corner of the Parking Lot. Using a blower solely on that much dust actually creates a cloud that settles back down on the track and poor traction results.

It's your program, so you can do with it as you please, but the "older guys" are the ones that are going to stay with the Hobby and likewise continue to attend a racing program that fulfills their needs or avoid one that does not.

Just my $0.50

Default Driver's Stand

Hey Chris, If you run at Hobby Town only do you plan on finding a safe location for the driverstand?

We were spoiled at the High School, hate to see us loose it.

Thanks,

Default Driver Stand

Yes, we plan to use the driver stand at HobbyTown. We figured out that the cross beams are designed to self level on slight grades. So the driver stand will work just fine at HobbyTown

Other than the occasional dust problem, I don't see any problems with Sundays at the High School. Plenty of parking and pit area.

Wherever the races are held, if the scheduled weekend is the same as R/C Comp, you are slicing the racer "pie" too thin and turnout suffers at both tracks.

Hobbytown seems like parking and pit space is always going to be a slight problem because of the surrounding shops (have to live with that) and one evening race a month either day shouldn't be a problem for the other shop owners.

Default Not Sure yet

Well if racing at the high school ends, it will be rescheduled for Friday nights. Dust is always a problem unless someone wants to push a broom over 9000 square feet? As for traction, its going to always be hot now, so additives will be laid from here forth... Parking at HobbyTown is not a problem as most shops close at 6pm, and they have the right to close off about 25,000 square feet for racing! If we go to Friday nights, it will be every other week, not once a month. My position is that if people are not going to come because of other racing, why should I setup on Sunday Morning in that heat? People are beggining the owners of HobbyTown to have us out there EVERY Friday, so why would I setup a track for 10 people, when 60 are asking for it on a diffrent night? Some of you have made it clear that racing at R/C Comp and La Habra is very important, so I want to make sure your fun isn't taken away from! So this Sunday will probably be the last Sunday Race.... I don't think somepeople realize the work that goes into running an race? Those of you who bust your butt out there helping Know what I'm talking about! So, if you wanna race Friday nights, you now have a place, if you want to race with the other clubs and have a good attendance, now you've got it! We will become a Friday night club from here forward, atleast until we get the permanent track open
