Post New track build photo gallery (EECC)

Hi,

Just thought that I would post this on the main board currently been running in the cs racing thread. This is a link to a photo gallery of our track build at Eastbourne electric car club (UK) you will be able to see the construction of the track from the very early stages to present. This is today when we laid the last concrete edging to the track layout.
Be sure to check back to see updates as they happen Weekly at the moment any questions just ask one of the builders will be able to answer im sure.

G.

Looks great. Unfortunatele I don't really like permenant tracks like that. I prefer a track that the track design can change everyweeks and keep it fresh.(my view not yours or yours) It does look like it's going to be one heck of a track. how long is that straight. If i'm ever in that neck of the world I will def. pop by and say hi.

The width of the track is 3 meters wide and the main straight is around 26 meters.

Hi guys, gald you like our little track, we needed something to race on, a little closer to home

Here is a pic we have glued together to give you a full track layout.

With 2 cut outs in the main layout, we do give ourselves a few different layouts, just so we don't get bored...

And as i.a.s stated, the main straight is 26m, but that is just the straight part, including the corner onto and sweeper off, it will feel much longer.

Looking forward to next week when the pink stone gets laid, should make for good pictures.

We got 2 rollers, you'll have to start on the first roller, before you progress to the sit on roller
