Does the track have much sand content to it? I was told a couple years ago to make sure I brought plenty of new bearings with me if I ran there. Is it more clay now with less sand or still sandy?

I would like to make a trip there in the spring. What seems to be the hot tire on buggy/truggy?

Matt-The track is great. Bearings are not a problem, the track has a groove on it, not much sand once practice is over. Tires... Ive run AKA City Blocks and Impacts, I've seen others run calibers and a few other tires. The layout is pretty nice, with some elevation changes, and some timing sections.

Thanks Brian. I plan to make the trip down to run a few times once warmer weather returns. It's a several hour drive for me one way so I wanted to know how it was. I've watched a few vids of the track and it looks fun.

Thanks for the tire advice as well. It's nice to know what works before I get there......
