Racing in Belarus,Russia.
Im off to see my wifes family in vitebsk,Belarus (Russia) for just over 3 weeks.
Unfortunatly my russian isnt good but I did find a model car club site! http://www.teamtekin.com/forums/icon_smile_cool.gif (I think!) http://rc54.ru/about Bad news is that I wont be able to take my car etc with me this year... http://www.teamtekin.com/forums/icon_smile_sad.gif Just the thought about the practicality of racing in a country that you dont speak the language has had me come up with 2,possibly 3 possible problems... 1) I would need a translator all day,for sure http://www.teamtekin.com/forums/icon_smile_big.gif (My wifes brother,or my wife). 2) Power issues,2 pin plug being the norm out there,I have a converter plug but im not sure if they use a different voltage? Dont fancy blowing up my transformer/charger lol 3) Making sure I have the right equipment with regards to local club rules, ideally before I turn up. Would be great to do it though! http://www.teamtekin.com/forums/icon_smile_big.gif Anyone know from any experiences if there is any racing in,or near Vitebsk,Belarus? Bit of a long shot I know, but thought I would ask! Or at the very least just turn up and see how things are done in Russia. |
