G's rc; offroad in shippensburg pa

to all those who have been looking for a place in south central pa to run offroad, come check this track out. it's right off exit 24 of I-81, approx. 45 min from the pa/md border. Oval racing on saturdays, offroad on sundays, weekday practice during hours of operation. Also, much to do with large scale vehicles. G' rc raceway

I drove by the track yesterday and caught a glimpse of the berm wall, man it looks sweet! Now I really can't wait for the off-road season. Garland, when will you be working on the track next? When will it be open for practice? I need my fix!!

Thursday looks okay weather-wise, if you're planning on doing anything then let me know. Otherwise, I'll come out this weekend if the weather is decent.

Saturday Racing is likely to be held off until Sunday due to a downpour of rain at 3 am. If the showers hold off Saturday there may be a chance for afternoon practice, but as far as racing it is unlikely. The track is very tacky and saturated, and should make for perfect race conditions tomorrow... if the rain holds off for the rest of the day. Make up racing will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, and we will know if the make up race day is a possibility by 10:30 am Sunday Morning. Stop in or call. Registration for The race shall begin at 11 am and end at 12:30 p.m.. Thanks, and lets hope for clear skies. Garland
